• The scope of this Privacy Policy is limited to information collected through your use of the Website’s services (whether such use is made through any computer used to access the Website’s services, including, without limitation, a desktop computer, laptop, mobile phone, or any other electronic device).
• The collection and use of Personal Information are carried out in accordance with the provisions of applicable law, including the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (the “Protection of Privacy Law”). Arad is the “controller” of the Information database (as defined by the term “controller” in the Protection of Privacy Law) with respect to Personal Information collected for the use of the Website and its associated services. For any questions related to this Privacy Policy, the collection and use of Personal Information, or the exercise of your rights regarding Personal Information, you may contact us using the contact details provided at the bottom of this policy.
• It is clarified that, in certain cases, Personal Information received by Arad, in its capacity as a “processor” (as meant by this term in the Protection of Privacy Law), regarding your water consumption from the relevant water corporation for your place of residence or other property under your responsibility, may be displayed. This information is presented in accordance with the provisions and agreements between Arad and the controllers of the information and in accordance with the privacy policies of those controllers.
• The User is under no legal obligation to provide Personal Information. The provision of Personal Information is dependent on the User’s will and consent. However, providing certain Personal Information may be necessary to fulfill the purpose of its collection, as detailed in this Privacy Policy. If you choose not to provide this information, you may not be able to receive the requested response and/or service, or such response and/or service may be provided at a lower quality. For example, if you wish to contact us to receive answers to specific questions, this cannot be done without providing contact details.
• By choosing to provide Personal Information to Arad, you declare and undertake that the Personal Information you have provided or will provide is complete and accurate. In the event of any change or update to the information, you undertake to update Arad. How Does Arad Collect Personal Information?

Arad collects Personal Information through the Website and the various services offered on the Website, including:

• Contact Us. If you wish to contact us, Personal Information relating to you and your inquiry will be collected in Arad’s databases. You may contact us through the “Contact Us” tab on the Website. For this purpose, you will be asked to provide your full name, email address, phone number, area of residence, company name, and a free-text description of your inquiry. Additionally, you may contact the Company using the phone numbers listed on the Website or by sending registered mail to the addresses provided on the Website.
• Newsletter Subscription. You may subscribe to Arad’s newsletter. For this purpose, you will be asked to provide your full name and email address. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter anytime by clicking on the dedicated unsubscribe link included in the newsletter messages received from Arad.
• Job Application Submission. Through the Website, you may apply for various job openings posted on the Website. For the purpose of submitting an application, you will be asked to provide various details, including: full name, contact details, a link to your website or “LinkedIn” profile, submission of a resume, and responses to various questions relevant to the position for which you are applying.
• Read Your Meter Pro. You may register for the service by providing a mobile phone number registered with your water supplier or by entering your water supplier account details for your household. After registration, you will be asked to provide your full name and email address. The use of this system is subject to the privacy policy displayed on this website or in the dedicated applications.

Purposes of Collection and Use of Information

• We may use your Personal Information and Non-Personal Information to provide the Website’s services, manage it, maintaining it, resolve technical issues, improve the user experience, the services and content offered on the Website, and ensure proper operation of the service or Arad websites that may be established in the future.
• Customizing the Website’s content to your areas of interest and improving the Website to suit your areas of interest, including through the use of various objects such as cookies (see the “Use of Cookies and Monitoring Tools” section) on other web pages you browse, including social networks. It is clarified that the information above does not personally identify you.
• To send messages by Arad via email and/or SMS and/or WhatsApp (and/or any other media or platform), to (a) contact you for administrative purposes, such as customer service or, for example, updates regarding changes or improvements related to the Website; we may also record our communication with you, inter alia, to assist in resolving issues you may encounter; (b) send you promotional information from Arad.

Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties

• We may share Personal Information with trusted third parties who assist us in the following purposes: operating the Website, providing the Website’s services, managing our business, and for various statistical purposes. These third parties may use your Personal Information only to the extent necessary to perform the services they provide for us, and they are obligated to implement security measures compliant with applicable law to ensure the confidentiality and protection of your Personal Information. • A User who consents to receive Mailing declares and confirms that they are aware of the provisions regarding the sending of advertising materials as detailed in the Communications Law (Bezeq and Broadcasting), 5768-2008 (the “Communications Law”), and they expressly consent to the sending of Mailing by Arad and by the group companies, through all the means listed in the Communications Law and through any relevant future means.
• You may withdraw your consent to receive the Mailing by contacting us via the links available in the messages sent to you and/or by submitting a written/telephone request to the Company or through the contact means listed in this policy. The time for removing the User from the Mailing lists from the moment of their initial request shall not exceed 48 hours for actual implementation. However, removal from the Mailing list will not delete the information collected about them from Arad’s information databases, and Arad shall be entitled to continue using such information in accordance with the purposes listed in this Privacy Policy.
• Arad does not provide direct mailing services to others and will not transfer your details and the information accumulated about you to third parties to send direct mailing on their behalf. The Company may use service providers on its behalf and, in this context, transfer various details to them, subject to its commitment to privacy protection.

Rights of Data Subjects

Arad respects your privacy and your control over your Personal Information. In accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law, your rights regarding your Personal Information held in Arad’s information database are as follows:

• You are entitled to request access to the Personal Information about you held by Arad.
• You are entitled to request the correction and/or deletion of the Personal Information about you if you find that the Personal Information is incorrect, incomplete, or not up to date.

When contacting us for correction and/or access and/or deletion of Personal Information as stated above, and for the purpose of protecting user privacy, Arad may request certain details for identification before providing a response and/or fulfilling the request.

It is clarified that information required by Arad for the management of its business, including documentation of actions performed in connection with a provided service, will continue to be retained in accordance with the law, but will no longer be used for contacting you and/or for any other purpose except for compliance with legal provisions and/or protection of Arad’s rights under the law.

Retention Period for Personal Information

• Arad will retain your Personal Information only for the period required for the purposes for which it is processed and in accordance with the requirements of applicable law. We will periodically review the Personal Information in our possession. If we find that there is no legal, business, or customer service-related need to continue retaining it – we will delete it securely or, in some instances, anonymize it.
• However, Arad may retain your Personal Information for a longer period in the following cases: (a) when the law or a directive from an authority requires it; (b) when Arad is contractually obligated to do so; (c) when the information is required for legal defense or for managing disputes.

• Arad implements accepted security measures to maintain the confidentiality of data subjects’ information, protect their privacy, and minimize the risk of unauthorized intrusion and use of Personal Information; however, absolute protection cannot be guaranteed, and there may be security breaches and intrusions into systems that are beyond Arad’s reasonable control.
• You are aware, and you confirm and agree, that Arad shall not be liable for any damage of any kind, indirect or direct, caused to you and/or to anyone on your behalf if the information is lost, exposed, or used in any unauthorized manner, and you confirm and agree that you shall have no claim and/or demand and/or lawsuit against Arad and/or anyone on its behalf in the event of such circumstances and for any damages caused to you, if any, as a result thereof.
